Marianne has participated in over 50 performances with various theatre companies, such as Micro Theater Miami, Miami Stage Company, and Mainstreet Players. As a Director, the foundation of her projects has been the importance of story telling. Whether it was celebrating diversity from shows such as Bring It On: The Musical, or complexities of justice and forgiveness found in stories like The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Marianne seeks for the heart of a show to be a story that speaks to her community and herself. She’s also drawn to a challenge, a production that will either bring something for the cast, crew, or herself to learn from. Putting the whole picture together is her favorite part of the job and to this day, she still geeks out when she has the little “Aha!” moments during rehearsal or a production meeting.
